THE CAMPUS APPROACH

Multicultural Teams

The teams will have 5-7 students with at least some Brazilian students in each one/team.

Interactive applied project

During the course of the 6-weeks, you will be in direct contact with the company representatives and will deliver suggestions that can be implemented by the company.

Student-centered learning

The session are not intended to be a one-way class, in which a professor lectures at students, but rather they aim to encourage students to share experiences and to learn the best way to find solutions from each other.

REQUIREMENTS

– Being enrolled in any undergraduate program at a higher education institution

– Being able to communicate in English

– Being motivated to join a multicultural team to help solve a real problem

AGENDA

From March 14th – April 25th, 2022

This program has a total of 40h, divided over the course of the 6 weeks. Besides the 20 contact hours, between company meetings and inspiration sessions, it is expected a workload of 20 hours to work asynchronously on the project.

INSPIRATION MONDAYS

every Monday from 6pm to 7.20pm ESTThe 80min sessions on Mondays aim to help you better integrate with other participants through cultural activities, learn about impact business, time management, doing business in Brazil, working on multicultural teams and presenting great ideas through storytelling.

COMPANY MEETINGS

every Wednesday or Thursday starting at 9am,
1pm or 4pm (EST) for 60 minutesYou will be able to choose the best time during the week for you and your team to meet with the company. During this 60min meeting with the company you will learn more about the project itself and the deliverables that should be presented at the end of the program.

Most frequent questions and answers

Is this program a credit-bearing internship?

No, this internship doesn’t offer credits; however, participants will receive a certificated signed by campus b and the host company of the internship

Why should you enroll in the program?

This program offers an opportunity for professional development by working on solving a company real case in Brazil. Besides it, you will have the opportunity to improve your intercultural communciation, adaptability and critial thinking, increasing your international network and learning more about another culture, timing and project management.

How I will be able to offer a solution to the company?

The inspiration Mondays will give you tools to work on your project. Every week you will also meet a company representant that will answer your questions. Besides that, you will receive 2 mentoring sessions that will help you and your team to craft a solution by using Campus B methodology.
